AHCH, inc. mission is to directly
provide and encourage others to offer clean, safe, affordable housing for people living
with HIV/AIDS. To provide support as
needed. AHCH does not accept government
grants – so as not to be tied down on how we
can help; and who we can help. The West Heights Shelter program
helps catches people who fall thru the cracks in the existing
gov’t funded system. AHCH works hand in hand with most of
the Houston area AIDS agencies. Accepting their clients &
referring new clients back to these same agencies thru our HIV/AIDS
referral hotline 713 864-1795. WHS serves adults over age 18 with
AIDS diagnosis. WHS also serves - as room allows people with HIV, Cancer and other life threatening
diseases. AHCH shelter system is made possible
only by Your public donations and private
foundation support. The West Heights Shelter is a
volunteer based system. WHS is considered a GLBT safe zone -
everyone welcomed. WHS is the only emergency shelter of
this type in Harris County. Questions? Please Contact the Executive Director: Mr. Matt Locklin <ahch@wt.net> News Articles About What
