6. Twelve directors in the soul (person),
male and female: the two hands, the two feet, the two kidneys,
the gall bladder, the intestines, the liver, the korkeban (stomach), the
kivah (esophagus), the spleen.
In this verse, an attempt is made to correlate
the pattern of twelve with twelve parts of the body. The exact meanings
of 'korkeban' and 'kivah' are uncertain, but some translate them as 'stomach'
and 'esophagus'.
