This final chapter of the Sefer Yetzirah serves to summarize all that has gone before -the three mothers, the three fathers (Yud-Hey-Vav) which are used in the holiest name for God, the patterns of twelve, seven, and three. The pattern of three is seen in the divisons of right brain, left brain, and the coordination of the two; the triad of God above, earth below, and man in between; the triplet of the Knower, the Known, and the Act of Knowing; and the divisions of space, time, and observer. In the last sentence, it is believed that teli refers to an axis in space upon which the constellations hang. Cycle, of course, refers to time, and the heart to the soul/person. Thus, a reminder that everything is born of space, time, and an observer.
