      For approximately six months I had the good fortune to be able to attend Mrs. Batya Katzman-Reichman's Hebrew classes-until the summer holidays began (and later sickness prevented my continuing regularly). She is, indeed, a teacher in love with her subject-and, therefore, she is most effective in motivating her students.
     During that time, we were introduced to her "Selflearning Kit": Let My Hebrew Grammar Flow, written with the same creative enthusiasm as shown in the classroom. I found it to be most helpful in learning (at my own pace) or in reinforcing, the fundamentals of Hebrew e.g. the alphabet, some basic grammar and vocabulary as well as reading, comprehension ( no attempt was made to teach "culture" or "civilization" ).
        Thus, I do not hesitate to recommend this text and its innovative technique for teaching to your consideration.

        I am writing on behalf of Batya Katzrnan-Reichman. I have known Mrs. Katzman-Reichman for the past two years. She has taught several Hebrew courses in our Adult Education Program at our synagogue. These include monthly Hebrew Marathons which teach adults to read Hebrew in three Sunday mornings (7-1/2) hours total); and Intermediate and Advanced Hebrew courses. The latter emphasize Hebrew Comprehension, and train students in reading, writing, speaking, as well as the mastery of Hebrew grammar and vocabulary.
      Mrs. Katzman-Reichman is a SUPERB Hebrew teacher. She is truly a master in this discipline. All her students absolutely rave about her non-stop. It is most rewarding as a rabbi to see how excited American Jewish and non-Jewish adults can become about learning Hebrew, when it is taught in such an engaging way. The students' evaluations are unanimous.: Mrs. Katzman-Reichman is an outstanding teacher and pedagogue in every respect.
       Mrs. Katzman-Reichman's success as a teacher is undoubtedly rooted in her own original methodology, which she has now presented in her new book Lot My Hebrew Langauge Flow. This promises to be a great tool for Hebrew teachers all over. Based on the results of her teaching in my synagogue, I can recommend Mrs. Katzman-Reichrnan as well as her new book, unqualifiedly.
