Commentary to stimulate thought

Someone in business said "Don't give me facts, give me good analogies." In these
commentaries I have tried to look at the situation of NASA and our lack of progress in Space
from a number of different angles, to try to explain why I feel change is needed and what those changes should be. Some of them you will not agree with, some may give you cause to think and possibly change your opinion. Hopefully you will become supportive of the changes that I am proposing for America's future in Space.
The commentaries are arranged in the following categories;
ANSWERS TO THE MOON CRASH SCENARIO
Sorry, it was a trick question. Yes there is a typical government bureaucracy type list of answers, but in fact the most important item was not on the list at all. Having a PLAN is absolutely essential to survival in any situation. "A PLAN changes the value of things." So the first thing you always do is sit down and figure out where your going, how your going to get there, the obstacles you'll meet, and then you evaluate what you have available to you. NASA is a prime example of an organization which has no direction. Having totally lost sight of their goals, they are redoubling their efforts to get there.
