HARRIS COUNTY CONSTABLE VICTOR TREVINO
With Grandson Thomas Ray Jr.
Victor Trevino immigrated to the United States in 1958 He became a Houston Police Officer in 1976. He served for 13 years until being elected as Harris County Constable Precinct 6 in 1988.
Victor graduated from Austin High School H.I.S.D. He attended San Jacinto Jr. Collage and received a Criminal Justice Degree from the University of Houston-Downtown.

48 Hours, The Crusaders, The Heritage Foundation, The Hudson Institute, The Pioneer institute, Boston Globe,
Washington Post and The Readers Digest - June 1998 issue
1) After 20 years of non-existence, Constable Trevino revived Little Leagues in Second and Fifth Ward
2) Began the first Parole Violators Task Force (Zebra Squad) in the State of Texas
3) Created a mock needed and unique truancy program, Absent Student Assistance Project (A.S.A. P.)
4) Established Constable's Athletic, Recreational and Educational Events, Inc. (C.A.R.E.)
5) Started the Precinct 6 State Certified In-Service Police Training
6) The first Volunteer Bicycle Patrol
7) First Contract Police Patrol (CCIP)
8) First Precinct 6 Citizen's Academy
9) First Gang Resistance Education and Training Bicycle initiative Coal (G.R.E.A.T. - B.I.G.) a unique bicycle patrol for schools and the surrounding community
