ENTRY FEES: $40.00 PER ANGLER

DAY OF TOURNAMENT REGISTRATION FEE: $150 Regardless of the number or age of anglers on your team.(4 Anglers Maximum per boat) Pier/wade fishing is allowed.

NO RAMP FEE WILL BE CHARGED AT TEAKWOOD MARINA.

ALL FEES MUST BE SENT IN WITH THE REGISTRATION FORM. 

REGISTRATION IS LIMITED TO THE FIRST 100 BOATS.

NO GUIDES ARE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE OR BE

PRESENT IN A BOAT WITH TOURNAMENT CONTESTANTS.

THE TOURNAMENT STAFF ARE ELIGIBLE FOR ALL PRIZES.

ALL CONTESTANTS MUST ABIDE BY THE TOURNAMENT RULES.

HCP6DA July 8, 2004 Fishing Tournament

TOURNAMENT RULES:

 

1. All boats regardless of launching or docking location MUST check in at the tournament desk at Teakwood prior to fishing. Failure to check in will result in disqualification.

2. Each boat is limited to four (4) anglers including the skipper.

3. All entry fees must be paid when you send in your entry form. You may fill in your teammates the morning of the tournament. Late registration fees must be paid by 7:00 a.m. on tournament day (July 8).

4. All boats entered in the tournament must depart from Teakwood no earlier than 5:00 a.m. Anyone leaving earlier will be disqualified; You may depart by any means you desire.

5. There is no limit as to the area that may be fished provided it is in saltwater that is open to the public.

6. All fish must be submitted for weigh-in by 2:30 p.m. If you are in line at 2:30 p.m. with your fish in your possession, then you have made the deadline and your fish will be weighed. Tournament directors may, at their discretion accept a late weigh in due to weather or other factors.

7. Only fish caught during the tournament are eligible. Fish that have been frozen, gutted, or mutilated will not be eligible and the angler attempting to weigh such a fish will be disqualified.

8. Any fish weighed must be legal according to the laws of the State of Texas. Any angler attempting to weigh a fish that is not legal, will be disqualified.

9.  All fish entered are subject to inspection by the Tournament Judges.

10. All fish must be caught on rod and reel.

11. All fish must be removed by the contestants.

12. Boat substitutions may be allowed after the tournament begins

13. Any boat found to be in breach of tournament rules will be disqualified and will forfeit all fees and awards.

14. Protests must be filed with the Tournament Judge by 3:OO p.m.

13. Pooling or transfer of fish is strictly prohibited.

16. When a tie exists, with respect to weight, then the first fish weighed in will be declared the winner, unless the Tournament Judge rules otherwise.

17. In the event of a storm or small craft warning being posted during all 8 hours of the tournament the tournament will be rescheduled for a later date Otherwise, four (4) hours of fishable weather will constitute the tournament.

18. If you have a question about a rule ask the Tournament Judge.

19. The Judge's decisions will be final.

20. Anyone who bas been a guide in the last two years, or is currently working as a guide, is strictly prohibited from participating in the tournament and may not even be present in the boat.

21. All Applicable TP&W regulations must be followed.

22. Each team will weight their choice of legal limit fish. We will not weight all of your fish and choose for you prior to weigh in.
