Tim Cissell

Born into a musical family in St. Louis, Tim began his training on the piano at the age of five. Of course, between the ages of eleven and seventeen he focused on the works of Lennon and McCartney, because his guitar was easier to carry to parties. He received his bachelor's degree at the University of Oklahoma, before earning a degree in music from Webster University is St. Louis. He followed that with graduate studies in music theory and composition at the University of Texas at Denton.

Tim has spent the last thirty years working as a professional musician, composer and music producer. During the 1980's he spent eight years supervising an ad agency recording studio and contributing to award-winning agency creative output as composer, performer, writer, and producer.

In 1989 he founded Tim Cissell Music to produce music for advertising, film, and television clients.

His most widely seen work is as music director, composer and theme-song writer for the Peabody and Emmy award-winning children's television show Wishbone which began running on PBS in 1994 and continues to be shown in the US and all over the world.

Recent work includes music direction, song writing and album production for the children's DVD series
BOZ, The Green Bear Next Door.
